This Privacy Policy explains how the Fleet Sync mobile application ("the app") handles information. The app is a companion tool for delivery drivers whose employers use the Fleet Sync fleet-management system. Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the app.
1. We Do Not Collect Personal Data
The app does not collect, store, or process personal data about you for its own purposes. We do not gather your name, contact details, contacts, photos, browsing activity, or any similar personal information through the app.
2. No Account Creation or Deletion Through the App
User accounts are not created, registered, modified, or deleted through the app. All driver accounts are provisioned and managed by your employer or organisation through an internal management system. You simply sign in to the app using the credentials issued to you by your organisation. If you need an account created, changed, or removed, please contact your organisation's administrator.
3. Location Information
The app collects your device's location only while you have an active delivery in progress. This allows your organisation's operations team to track the delivery in real time so they can coordinate dispatch and keep customers informed.
- Location is collected only during an active delivery — not before one is assigned and not after it is completed or cancelled.
- Location data is used solely for operational delivery tracking by your organisation.
- We do not sell your location data, and we do not use it for advertising.
- You can turn off location collection at any time through your device's settings, though doing so may prevent the delivery-tracking features from working.
4. Push Notifications
With your permission, the app receives push notifications (for example, when a new delivery is assigned to you). To deliver these, the app registers an anonymous device messaging token with the notification service. This token is used only to send you operational delivery notifications and does not, by itself, identify you personally. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
5. How Information Is Shared
The location information collected during an active delivery is shared only with your own organisation through the Fleet Sync system, for the operational purposes described above. We do not sell information to third parties or share it for advertising or marketing.
6. Data Retention
Delivery and location records associated with your trips are retained within your organisation's Fleet Sync account and are managed according to that organisation's own data-retention practices. Requests to access or remove such records should be directed to your organisation's administrator.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information transmitted through the app. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
The app is intended for use by professional drivers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
